Bill Kosoff For Immediate Release Telenetics® Acquires Exclusive Rights to the Global Data Family of Products LAKE FOREST, California September 25, 2003 Telenetics Corporation (OTC-BB: TLNT), a provider of wired and wireless data communications products for customers worldwide, today announced it has entered into a Technology Transfer, License and Distribution Agreement with Global Data, Inc. which has granted Telenetics the exclusive right to manufacture and market the entire range of Global Datas StarPoint Cellular based wireless transmission devices used primarily in Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) and remote data applications, and Global Datas StarComm industrial grade land line modem products. Commenting on the acquisition of Global Datas product lines, Bill Kosoff, Telenetics Vice President of Worldwide Sales, said "We believe that the addition of Global Datas StarPoint wireless products and technology will enhance our ability to provide effective and timely solutions to a greater number of potential users, thereby strengthening Telenetics presence in the AMR wireless market with leading utilities as well as other remote monitoring applications utilizing wireless technologies.
